SAYSA Board Meeting

Travel        

-report on team -

Edinboro – 2 teams participating U14 boys and U12 girls

Decided problems with players not ready for travel, should be up to coach/board not parent if they play

-open U10 Travel next year

-open new board position “travel coordinator”

- Mike Pascarella and John Carrier interested in joining board

-possible U12 travel in fall

-would be nice to have more games with West district, realign or more crossover games

-offer E course to coaches from SAYSA

-give parents/players description of “competitive travel”

-recommended NSCAA national convention to all coaches

            Next one in Baltimore Jan 12-16, 2011

-suggested having final program next year at an indoor facility and include travel players

Memorial Day Parade

          Invited to Sharon's parade, all travel and rec players and coaches. 

          Meet at Case Avenue Elementary School at 10:00 AM.

Hermitage Turf Field Donation – recommended donating $400 more to turf field for a total of $500- will get name on plaque

Next Meeting June 5 11:30 am at Mahaneys

Summer Meetings July 6 and August 10 7 pm at Dairy Queen in Sharpsville
